Central Bayside Community Health Service Alcohol and other drugs service offers a comprehensive range of free services on a one to one basis. These include: Youth specific, adult services, withdrawal, counselling, information, education and secondary consultation.

DRINK DRIVER EDUCATION COURSES

(V.D.D.P Accreditation No. 92/010)) Courses are conducted on two consecutive weekly evenings. Attendance is required both nights.

DRINK DRIVER ASSESSMENTS

Drink driver assessments are available by appointment.

Alcohol and Other Drugs strategy


Bentleigh Bayside Community Health initiated a research project to identify current drug and alcohol issues within the Glen Eira community. This project was undertaken by the Centre for Applied Drug and Alcohol Research, Monash University and showed that the types of drugs most commonly used in the Glen Eira community are, alcohol, tobacco, and cannabis and prescription drugs.
