Service Description


TransAccess services the local government areas of Kingston, Bayside, Glen Eira and Stonnington

The following services are provided by TransAccess Community Transport.

A Register of Community Transport Resources


TransAccess maintains a database transport register within its service area that community organisations make available for other community organisations to use on a contribution to cost basis. Organisations must become members of the register (fees apply) to access these vehicles through the TransAccess central booking service. Additional insurance cover is also provided through the register

Mobility Support Service


TransAccess provides a mobility support service for people who are frail aged and disabled to access appropriate transport options. Volunteers are used to assist eligible people to travel on public transport or where appropriate provide a door to door service using program vehicles. Priority is given to eligible people who reside in supported or public accommodation and are on a statutory income

Supported Residential Service (SRS) Community


TransAccess provides support to residents of SRS's in the city of Stonnington to participate in community activities. Eligible people are those residents of SRS's in the City of Stonnington who require support & assistance to participate in community leisure activities and pastimes.
